Facility

Events, Concerts and Meetings

St. Aidan’s buildings and facilities are some of the busiest in Victoria and we take pride in the fact that we are home to so many community groups and activities.

Our Sanctuary, because of the outstanding acoustics and seating for almost 400 people, is a desirable venue for many musical events. All of our facilities are handicap accessible, and we have an elevator to the lower level. We offer a small kitchen upstairs suitable for serving refreshments, as well as a well-equipped commercial kitchen connected to a large lower hall that can accommodate 150 people. Also ask us about rental of audio-visual equipment.

To book space for your events, concerts or meetings, please contact the the Rentals Coordinator at extension 21, (250) 477-2089 or by email

Weddings

The staff at St. Aidan’s will be happy to discuss your wedding plans with you. We welcome weddings from church and non-church members. We are available for services in our sanctuary or a location of your choice. Our music ministers are also available to share their expertise in making your service a beautiful celebration.

Please contact Rev. Cheryl Black for more details.

We believe God intends loving relationships to be faithful, responsible, just, healing and sustaining of the couple and those around them. These relationships may be between a woman and a man, or between people of the same gender.

Funerals

The time of death for someone you love is a profound spiritual moment. On the one hand you are confronted by a flood of varied feelings, and on the other, by questions that reach to the very core of life: “Why did this happen? What happens next? And what can I learn from the experience of grief?”

St. Aidan’s has a lot of experience in accompanying families through a time of death, both in designing and leading funerals or memorial services, but also in assisting the grieving survivors. If you are looking for help, please contact Rev. Cheryl Black. We would be happy to assist you.
