Fall Bazaar Gratitude!
Bazaar 2017 has come to an end. We raised $37,135.00 It was a fun filled day as we welcomed the community into our space. Thanks to everyone especially the convenors of the stalls for all of your hard work.
A bazaar the size of ours does not happen overnight. It takes weeks of preparation. A lot of the convenors have been collecting items already. We need your help. There are jobs year round. The toys need to be cleaned and sorted, the books need to be priced and sorted, the jewellery needs to be sorted and priced and on and on.
Please call Marilyn 250-479-5676 if you can offer some help. Shirley and Barbara will be gathering anyone who knits or crochets in January to talk about new patterns and distribute yarn that has been donated. Please consider coming along, Check in the L&W for the upcoming date. Sylvia will be gathering anyone who likes to sew at her home in the new year to discuss new ideas and also distribute fabric. We need new ideas so please join in.
Every stall is only successful if it receives donated items. Please mention St. Aidan’s to your friends and family as they do their new year purging and cleaning out. Happy New Year to all from the bazaar team Marilyn and Cheryl

Your participation helps us help others
Through a combination volunteer hours, facility use, monetary donations and re-distribution of donated household items and clothing, St. Aidan’s supports many local and international organizations, including Our Place, the Victoria Women’s Transition House, the Shelbourne Community Kitchen, the SPCA, the Red Cross, the Single Parent Resource Centre and the Sexual Assault Centre. This work is largely funded by the St. Aidan’s Fall Bazaar and its year-round Thrift Shop, but it couldn't happen without the many generous donations of used goods we receive every day, the giving spirit and volunteer efforts of St. Aidan’s people, and supporters like you!
We accept donations of used good throughout the year, and volunteers are always welcome.
